The DyAnsys, Inc. method of extracting the two components of the Autonomic Nervous System viz. the Sympathetic system and the Parasympathetic system has resulted in a unique medical instrument, the ANSiscope.
The ANSiscope works in real-time and updates readings with every new heartbeat. It depends on a very accurate ECG and a high sampling rate. The signal input is an accurate 3 lead ECG. It is a pure mathematical technique (e.g. uses no statistics hence there are no false positives and false negatives). Because of this we are able to plot a sympathovagal balance trajectory in real-time and also update it with every heartbeat.
